Creative Challenge

Mobile game Legendary: Game of Heroes needed to be launched in Australia. Competing with a long list of other ‘match-3’ games, our task was to set Legendary apart from the competition and to connect potential gamers with their in-game character.

Solution

An intense and action-packed cinematic adventure that put gamers in the gaming realm – right there with their Legendary avatar.

Filmed in New Zealand using dramatic locations as seen in Peter Jackson's Hollywood films (did someone say 'Lord of the Rings'?), Khemistry brought to life the 'fantasy world' of Legendary - Game of Heroes. Production elements including the original score right through to the VFX were all crafted in house at Khemistry.

Results

The results were so successful that the client commissioned a series of follow-up 15 second online videos, which (combined), drove an additional 15,600 game installs. Furthermore, they loved the creative so much that they rolled out the spot globally. Legendary!
